What Does This Client Assets Course Cover?

Client Assets from CityLearning covers your firm’s obligations under the Client Asset Requirements (CAR). This course has been updated to reflect the changes made to the CAR in 2022, which will come into effect on 1 July 2023. It introduces client assets and the regime established by the Central Bank of Ireland to ensure their protection. This eLearning course teaches your staff how to apply the seven core client asset principles in their roles and ensures they know how to safeguard client assets and report any incidents.

Client Assets ends in a 15-question course test. Learners must answer at least 12/15 questions correctly to pass the course. Their score will be automatically saved in CityLearning’s Learning Management System (LMS) CityREPORTs, so that compliance with client assets training requirements can easily be proven.

Course Features

Rigorous Testing: Spot questions are used throughout the course to increase user engagement; they either probe to expand on a learner’s existing knowledge of the subject matter or reinforce key learning points. Each module ends in a short quiz, and the course ends in a 15-question course test with an 80% pass mark. Questions in the course test are randomised from a choice of three so that learners may retake without getting the same questions.

Case Study

A CityLearning client reached out in 2020 looking to develop bespoke eLearning to teach 350 staff about their obligations under the recently implemented Client Asset Requirements (CAR). The CAR are quite detailed and specific, and the client tasked CityLearning with creating a course to match which would take less than an hour to complete.

CityLearning worked alongside the client to develop Client Assets. At their request, the course includes comprehensive information on the seven core client assets principles to ensure their staff understood how to apply the principles in their day-to-day work.
