What Does This Sanctions Course Cover?

Sanctions covers the different international and national sanctions regimes and teaches your staff about their role in enforcing them. It begins by introducing sanctions, giving an overview of their purpose and the different types. The course then introduces the various sanctions regimes in force around the world and explains what sanctions lists are, where they can be found and how to use them.

Next, Sanctions goes into detail about the international sanctions imposed on Russia since its invasion of Ukraine in February 2022. It explains the purpose if these sanctions and the specific measures in place to ensure your staff understand the complex package of sanctions in place. The course ends by explaining how to screen your customers against the sanctions lists and report breaches. This sanctions compliance course will make sure your staff know they are responsible for complying with economic sanctions.

Sanctions ends in a 12-question course test. Learners must answer at least 10/12 questions correctly to pass the course. Their score will be automatically saved in CityLearning’s Learning Management System (LMS) CityREPORTs, so that compliance with sanctions training requirements can easily be proven.
